Art into Words
After graduating from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Fine Art I sadly lost interest in the subject. All passion for creating art had simply faded.
Earlier this year (2014), some 16 years later, I was persuaded to once again have a go at some sketch work. One sketch turned into many. Sketches became paintings. I had found my passion once more.
I have a great love for colour and portraiture in particular. I hope you enjoy my work.

Towards the end of 2015, a small sketch of a dragon in flight became the story of a little girl who befriends a shy dragon, who is responsible for tending to sunflowers during the night. The Sunflower Dragon was my first proper work of fiction for children and adults alike.
This was followed by The Sydney Opera Mouse, also a chapter book for younger readers. This story centered around a small mouse in love with the musical arts performed at Sydney Opera House.
In November 2016 I released my first novel - Howzat, Henry! - the story of a young rescue donkey who falls in love with the game of cricket.
March 2017 saw the launch of Gentle Planet, a brand of colourful characters aimed at children. The launch saw the release of the first of a series of picture books, The Yellow Feather. To learn more about Gentle Planet, click here.
